EL PASO, IL - Kathryn Kimpler, 78, of St Francis Woods in Peoria, formerly of 1833 N. Wisconsin Ave., Peoria, died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday (March 23, 1996) in Morton. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Woods, Peoria, with Franciscan brothers officiating. A graveside service will be at 11:45 a.m. at St Mary Cemetery, El Paso. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wright & Salmon Morturary, Peoria, and one hour before the funeral Thursday at St. Francs Woods. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the morturay. Memorials may be made to St Francis Woods.

She is survived by one son,Terence Kimpler, morton; one daughter, Sandra Stozek, Wheaton; one sister, Marie Pankey, DesMoines, Wsh., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.

She was born June 17, 1917, in Gridley, the daughter of Martin and Catherine Cleary Stack.

She was a graduate of St Francis School of Nursing, She retired from Caterpillar, where she had worked as a registered nurse for 13 years , last working in Mapleton.

She was a former member of St Bernard Catholic Church in Peoria.
