Frank Jaskowiak died this morning at 6:05 a.m. after an illness of three and one-half years. He was born near Flensburg, MN, on October 6, 1888. His father was Stanislaus "Stanley" Jaskowiak, born May 1852 in Poland, died Jan 26, 1925 in Morrison County, Minn. His mother's name is unknown but she was also born in Poland before 1867 and died before the Jun 1895 census in Culdrum Township near Flensburg.

Frank married Mary L. Yaeger on June 29, 1909, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Cloud He was preceded in death by a son, Richard, a marine killed in combat February 19, 1945, during the World War II invasion of Iwo Jima Island held by the Japanese Empire.

Surviving are the widow and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. A. G. Parent (Irene) of St. Cloud; Willard and Blake of Minneapolis; Mrs. R. C. Forsberg (Elaine) of Owatonna, MN, and Craig at home in St. Cloud. There are seven grandchildren and six brothers and three sisters surviving.

Mr. Jaskowiak was a member of the Eagles and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Funeral services were held Monday morning, August 17th, at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud with burial in the family plot at Assumption Cemetery.
