(Brief obituary from the Baltimore Sun Newspaper of Wed., May 9, 1956)

Note by Arlin Super: Peter was born in Morrison County in central Minnesota sometime between July 1883 and July 1885 (3 different sources have 1893, 1884 and 1885). His parents were Stanislaus Jaskowiak (1852-1925) and Bronislawa “Bernice” Graczyk (1863-1895), both born in Poland. By or before 1929 Peter had changed his surname to Jascovey, was living in Baltimore, Maryland and was operating a second-hand goods store. He continued to do so at least until 1942 (cited in his draft registration), and likely until his death. Peter never married.
