Adam SAILER born 16 August 1865 in Friedental, Simpferopol, Crimea, South Russia was the son of Andreas SAILER and Christina Katie BOHRER.

Adam married Johanna FRANK on the 5th of November 1885 in Neusatz, Simpferopol, Crimea, South Russia. The couple was blessed with 1 child. Johann died in about 1888 in South Russia.

Adam married Jacobina BENZ on the 13th of November 1889 in Crimea, South Russia. This union was blessed with no less than 9 children; Andrew, Elizabeth, Edward, Emil H, Reinhold J, Ida Marie, Theophil, Theodore A and Ella S.

Adam at the age of 28 with his wife Jacobina and their son Andrew, immigrated to America via the Port of Antwerp, Belgium aboard the SS "Friesland" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 13th of November 1893.

As per the ship's manifest their final destination was recorded as Menno, South Dakota. In the Spring of 1894 the Adam SAILER family migrated north to Mercer County, North Dakota and took on a homestead there very likely within Township 146 Range 84.
