Alvin E. Eads, 80, Economy RR 1, a member of the First Baptist Church of New Castle, died Sunday night in the Henry County Hospital. Death came following a heart attack which occurred shortly afternoon Sunday at Mr. Eads home.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Dora A. Eads; seven daughters, Mrs. Lille Daffron, Mrs. Effie Bennett, Mrs. Lexie Smith and Mrs. Lois Crabtree, all of New Castle; Mrs. Della Gossage of Lewisville; Mrs. Pearl Thompson and Mrs. Irene Addington of Winchester; two sons, Edward E., of Redkey and Claude, of Economy; a sister, Mrs. Ida Buster and a brother, J.S., both of Monticello, Ky.; 30 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church in New Castle, with the Rev. R.E. Pavy, pastor and Rev. R.E. Halis, of Indianapolis, former New Castle pastor, officiating. Burial was in South Mound Cemetery.
