Herbert Eads, 40, 827 N. 14th street, died yesterday afternoon at the Clinic here following an extended illness.
Survivors listed are a daughter, Darlene of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Eads near Economy; seven sisters, Mrs. Brian Daffron, Mrs. Perry Bennett and Mrs. Ernest Crabtree, all of New Castle, Mrs. Nolan Thompson and Mrs. Lexie Smith both of Winchester, Mrs. Leonard Gossage of Lewisville, Mrs. Robert Addington of Carlos; brothers, Edward of Dublin and Claude of Economy.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday at the First Baptist Church in New Castle with Rev. R.E. Halls in charge. Burial will be at South Mound Cemetery.
Friends may call at the home of the parents, 2 1/2 miles northwest of Economy anytime after 7 pm today where the body will be returned from Revnard Funeral Home in Modov. - 13 Oct 1949, New Castle, Indiana newspaper
