B. E. BOURGEOIS VETERAN OF WAR, DIES IN HOSPITAL

Bernard E. Bourgeois of 74 Clifton St. in Waterford, an Army veteran of World War II, died early Saturday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Albany, following a lengthy illness.

A native of Napierville, Canada, Mr. Bourgeois had been a resident of Waterford 31 years and was a communicant of St. Anne’s Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Rita Melanson; three brothers, Harvey, Laurent and Albert Bourgeois, all of Cohoes; six sisters, Mrs. Adrien Fleury, Mrs. Knowlton Coutu, and Misses Jeanette and Pauline Bourgeois , all of Waterford and Mrs. Edmond Berthiaume and Mrs. Alfred Arneault, both of Cohoes, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the residence and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Anne’s Church, Northside, where a Solemn Requiem Mass will be sung. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
