Raymond H. Bourgeois, 56 of Grace of Grace St. in Waterford, along time self-employed accountant in the area, died yesterday at the Veteran’s Hospital in Albany after a brief illness.

A native of Waterford, Mr. Bourgeois was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Waterford and a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Adrien Fleury, Mrs. Knowlton Coutu, and Misses Jeannette and Pauline Bourgeois of Waterford and Mrs. Alfred Arneault and Mrs. Edmund Berthiaume of Cohoes, and two brothers Laurent and Albert Bourgeois of Waterford.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, 216 Columbia St., Cohoes. At 10 a.m. a Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
