Born in Albenel Lake, St. John, Quebec, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Rose-Anna (Dupras) Barrette.
Miss Barrette had worked as a spooler for the former Alsace Woolen Mills and Woonsocket Spinning Co. for many years before retiring.
She was a former member of the Parkview Senior Citizens Club.
She leaves a brother, Lucien Barrette of North Smithfield; and two sisters, Sister Blanche Barrette and Sister Rita Barrette, both of Malborough. She was a sister of the late Noe, Alphonse, Aline and Marie Barrette and Therese Richards.
The funeral will be on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road. Burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery.
