Arlene M. Gates, 93, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away March 2, 2016 in Ormond Beach, FL.

She was born on November 4, 1922 in Maribel, WI to parents Otto and Emma (Kasten) Mueller. She was a homemaker and moved to the Palm Coast area in 2009 from Leonardtown, MD. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Palm Coast and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry Gates.

Survivors include her son, Michael Lee Gates (Sandra) of Davie, FL; daughter, Kathleen Lois Trescott (Roger) of Palm Coast, FL; grandchildren, Catherine Tierney, Alyson Trescott, Amanda Apfel and Adrienne Trescott and great-grandchildren, Piper and Kinleigh Apfel.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date and following cremation, she will be laid to rest with her husband in Knollwood Memorial Park, Manitowoc, WI.
