Born in Reading Township, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Lucy (Stine) Linebaugh.
Mrs. Bankert was a member of Emmanuel U.C.C., Abbottstown. She retired from Penn Wood Products, East Berlin, in 1983 and also worked for Dentsply, C.H. Musselman, Gettysburg Shoe, and Carmel Co. of York.
She was the wife of the late Raymond O. Bankert, who departed this life July 19, 1985, and is survived by one son, Donald L. Linebaugh of East Berlin; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; three brothers, Earl Linebaugh of Abbottstown, Glen Linebaugh of Dover, Merle Linebaugh of Gettysburg; one sister, Dorothy Sterner of Dover.
She was also predeceased by one granddaughter, Robin Linebaugh; four sisters, Sadie Wilt, Ruth Krout, Sarah Linebaugh and Edna Linebaugh; and five brothers, Ralph, Wilson, Charles, Amos and Curvin Linebaugh.
