Memorial services for Wilson I. Blatt, 73, of 510 James St., Sinking Spring, were held today.

The Rev. Dr. Robert I. Rhoads officiated in Immanuel United Church of Christ, Shillington. Burial was made in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. The Iredale Funeral Home Inc., Shillington, was in charge.

Blatt died Saturday morning in the Hassler Home Inc., Cumru Township, where he had been a patient two days.

Born in Dauberville, he was a son of the late Franklin P. and Carrie (Althouse) Blatt.

Blatt had been employed by the C.H. Briggs Hardware Co., Leesport R.D. 1, for 20 years before retiring as warehouse manager in 1975.

He was a member of Immanuel UCC, Shillington, and the Goodwill Beneficial Association, Hyde Park.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy E., wife of Allen E. Wenrich, Reiffton; a son, Barry W., Port Clinton, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Four brothers: W. John, Leesport; Luther M., Leesport R.D. 1; Arthur M., Reading; and Elmer E., Mohnton R.D. 2.

Also four sisters: Florence, wife of Harry W. Becker, Hyde Park; Laura, wife of George A. Reeser, Reading R.D. 2; Kathryn, wife of Elmer A. Kauffman, Temple; and Sara, wife of Wilbert T. Latshaw, Riverview Park.
