AUGUST 17, 1930 - MAY 14, 2018
Otis Alvin Todd, age 87, of Nashville, passed away Monday morning at his son's residence. Born August 17, 1930 in Heltonville, Indiana, he was one of fifteen children born to Logan and Izolla (Hawkins) Todd.
Otis had worked at Hamilton Cosco in Columbus, Fleetwood Excavating, Bartholomew County R.E.M.C. and finally for his son at Jack Todd Paving until he turned 80 years old. Otis was a very skilled mechanic and he also enjoyed stock car racing and hunting.

They would draw crowds as many as 30-40 people to his garage. Otis' jam sessions were once featured on W.T.I.U. Public T.V. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Brown County Music Awards.
Otis is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Tracy Todd, of Nashville; his daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Kurt Meshberger of Columbus; four grandchildren; Darcy Callaway, Tanner Meshberger, Lauren Spiece and Betsy Firth; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters, Alfred Todd, Elmer Todd, Wayne Todd and Sharon Arthur; and many relatives of his late wife, Jo Ann Leggins Todd including his step-children Mel Leggins, Mike Leggins, Doug Leggins and Penny Cobb.
