Hanford Todd
HELTONVILLE - Hanford Todd, 49, of Norman R. 2, died at 8:15 a.m. today in his home, after an illness of one week. He was a sawmill laborer and a native of Lawrence County. Born November 4, 1922, he was the son of Logan and Izolla Hawkins Todd, Norman R. 2.

Survivors in addition to the parents are his wife Margaret Tincher Todd; two children, Brian Lee and Rita Gale Todd, at home; five sisters, Fern Axsom and Mrs. Geneva Kinser, of Columbus, Mrs. Onita Smith of Heltonville, Mrs. Sharon Arthur of Bloomington and Mrs. Irene Smiley of Bozman, Mont.; seven brothers, Otis and Oval Todd, of Nashville, Marion and Elmer Todd of Smithville, Gerald and Wayne Todd of Heltonville, and Alfred Todd of Bloomington. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

The Rev. James Stephens will officiate at funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday in Jones Funeral Home, Heltonville. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
