Mary (Baumgardner) Whittington, 81, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018, at the State of the Heart Care Center in Greenville.
She was born February 12, 1937, in Greenville to the late Melvin and Geraldine (Gunckle) Baumgardner.
n addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Klosterman, Sr. in 1980 and Joe Whittington in 2015; her son-in-law, Kenny Peace; her brother, John Baumgardner; her sisters, Virginia Baker and Lucille (Boots) Breaden.
Mary is survived by her children, Debbie Hammontree of Ansonia, Jill Newman of Greenville , Jann Peace of Ansonia, Mike (Sharie) Hammontree of Ansonia, Cheryl (Allen) Keaser of Greenville, Bob (Chris) Klosterman of Greenville, Jo Carole (Ron) Rucker of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hammontree, Nikole Baldridge, Eric (Angela) Newman, Brittni (Borrao) Newman, Delphus Peace, Alex Peace, Zachary (Sophie) Hammontree, Janae Hammontree, Jaimie (Cody) Anderson, Lindsay Fraley, Nicholas Fraley, Mason Klosterman, Allen Klosterman, Holly Abel; her numerous great grandchildren; her sister, Kay Camacho of Versailles; her brother, Ron (Margaret) Baumgardner of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Mary's life will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Mark A. Gates officiating.
Burial will be in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may visit from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, at the funeral home.
