Raymond will be missed by his loving wife of nearly four years, Betty Ann Fayle Watterson Phillips of Deputy, Indiana; his loving daughter, Cindy M. Phillips Booth and her fiancée, Lory Harrod of Manville, Indiana; his adoring grandchildren, Loren, Mackenzie, Courtney, and Zachary; his loving step sons, Jerry Rowlett of Deputy, Indiana, Robert Rowlett and his wife, Erin of Deputy, Indiana; his loving step daughters, Tina Rowlett of Deputy, Indiana, Teresa Watterson and her husband, Andy, Amy Watterson and her husband, Dough; his step grandchildren, Ashley, Lakin, Mike, R.J., Cody, Skyler, Rosie, Jessica, Kaylee, Raynelynn, and Gabe; numerous step great grandchildren; his half-brother, Charles Greenhill and his wife Nadine of Hanover, Indiana; his half-sisters, Margaret Phillips of Madison, Indiana, Vera Walters of Madison, Indiana; his brother in law, Calvin Booth of Pleasureville, Kentucky; his sisters in law, Norma Sterger of Lake Forest, California; Ginger Riley and her husband, Chuck of Victorville, California; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond A. Phillips, his mother, Irene Willman Phillips, his half brothers, John and Harry Phillips, his first wife, Winnifred June Hardy Phillips, died October 12, 2011, his twin sister, Rita Booth; his step son, Terry Rae Rowlett, his step daughter, Cindy Marie Hardy, his step grandson, Josh Dan Bartlett, his step great grandchild, Jordan Frisque, his step daughter in law, Kathy Rowlett.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., by Rev. Skip Napier at the Lancaster Baptist Church near Lancaster, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Lick Branch Cemetery near Deputy, Indiana.
Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Lancaster Baptist Church near Lancaster, Indiana.
