Denmond Parker, 56, a Winona construction machine operator and Montgomery County native, died Saturday, June 20, 1987, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Michelle Parker of Winona, two sons, Mike Parker and Gary Parker, both of Winona, three sisters, Mrs. Lela Mae Austin, Mrs. Helen Daves and Mrs. Gladys Allison, all of Winona and a brother, Leon Parker of Winona,
Memorial services were conducted from New Hope Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Monday, June 22. The Rev. Dr. Jerry Mixon, assisted by the Rev. B.C. Nunn, preached. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Sonny Crouch, Earl Griffin, Jimmy Haywood, David Daves, John Wayne VanHorn and Billy Costilow. Oliver Funeral Home handled arrangements.
