A resident of Livonia, she died at 1:10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 1996, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 84 and a native of Livonia. Visiting was held at Niland's Funeral Home, Livonia, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Livonia, at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. David Allen. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Lillie Fabre, Baton Rouge, and Mary Jane David, Frisco; a son, Carlton Bergeron, Livonia; two brothers, Milton Pourciau and Richard Pourciau, both of Livonia; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Walter Bergeron; parents, two sisters and three brothers.
