Walter J Crouse, 82, Fairfield R2, died at 7:50 today at the Warner Hospital.
A life long resident of Adams County, he was a son of the late Lewis E and Helen E Snyder Crouse. His wife, Anna E Harbaugh Crouse, preceded him in death. Mr. Crouse was a retired farmer and a member of Incarnation United Church of Christ, Emmitsburg.
Surviving are the following children, Calvin E., Westminster; Miss Elizabeth, Fairfield, Donald, Fairfield; Mrs. Frances M. Snively, Fairfield; Mrs.Ethel G Smith, Shippensburg; Mrs. Emma J Appler, Gettysburg; Paul L., Linthicum, Md.; and Allen J Crouse, Fairfield; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie F Ger,an, Gettysburg R2; Mrs. Anna G Eversole, Waynesboro; Mrs. Catherine C Bankert, Littlestown; and Miss Jessie Crouse, Gettysburg R2.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 from the Wilson Funeral Home, Fairfield. Rev. John C Chatlos will officiate and interment will be in St. Jacob's Cemetery, Fountaindale.
