Adkins, Alphus - 71, died at 6:30 a.m. yesterday at his home at Hager. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosie Adkins; two daughters, Mrs. Glen Adkins and Miss Della Adkins of Hager; two sons, Otis of Omar and Kelly of Hamlin; three brothers, Moss of Hamlin and Ambrose and Walker of Hager; four sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Adkins of Hager, Mrs. Rushia Adkins, Hamlin, Mrs. Justine Plumley, Logan, Mrs. Lillie Cooper of Bernie. Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the residence. Ebb Cummings and Elijah Adkins will officiate. Burial will be in the Adkins Cemetery. The body was removed yesterday from the Johnson & Koontz mortuary at Hamlin to the residence.
