R. DEITZ ADKINS- Seventy-nine years old, a retired Hamlin farmer, died at 12:30pm yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Hale of Griffithsville. Funeral services will be held at 10:am tomorrow at the Adkins home in Hamlin with Elder Glen Sharp of Huntington officiating. Burial will be in the Adkins Cemetery near Hager. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Hale, Mrs. Lucy Stewart of Hamlin and Mrs. Lola Lovejoy of Midland, PA., five sons, John of Griffithsville, James of Logan, Wilford and Roundy of Hamlin, and Earl of Industry, PA. 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren Grnadsons will serve as pall bearers and granddaughters will be flower girls. The body will be taken to the residence this afternoon from the Johnson-Koontz Funeral Home at Hamlin.
