Mrs. Iva W. Rogers, 85, of 1212 N 2nd St, died Wednesday morning in a Temple nursing home. She had been in ill health the past several years.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home, the Rev. Clyde Nichols and the Rev. William Greenwaldt officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Pendleton, the daughter of H. W. and Lou Wormelduff. She was married to Veston Rogers, May 15, 1915, in Temple. He died in 1947. She lived in Temple and Bell County all her life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Molton G. Allen of Temple, two sisters, Mrs. Denny Neal of Temple and Mrs. Osee Cass of Bryan; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be J. V. Long, Tillman Bond, Olin Fuller, James L. Gibson, W. Bluitt Miller, J. T. White, Erroll Wendland and Herman Meinscher.
