Adam Rotterman
Princeville, June 26 – Funeral services for Adam Rotterman, 72, a farmer of Hallock township who died Sunday morning at his home after a six week illness, will be held at 9 a. m. Wednesday from the St. Matthew's church in Edelstein and burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery here. Friends may call at the residence Tuesday and the rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. Tuesday.
Surviving are his wife; two daughter, Mrs. Mary Hoffman and Miss Julia Rotterdam of Peoria; one granddaughter; two brothers and five sisters. A son precede him in death.
Mr. Rotterman was born March 19, 1872, on the farm in Hallock township where he spent his entire life. He was a son of Frank and Mary Piffer Rotterman. He married Anna Morgan on Oct. 27, 1898 and she preceded him in death in May 1908. His second marriage was in 1916 to Miss Rose Evans who died in 1924. In 1930 he married Miss Grace Oswald of Chicago.
A devout member of the Catholic church, Mr. Rotterman found his greatest happiness in his church, his home and family. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
