Former Princeville Resident Passes in Oklahoma City
George Rotterman, 78, former community resident passed away Tuesday morning at St. Anthony's hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.
He was born January 5, 1869, in Edelstein, the son of Frank and Mary Piffer Rotterman. He was one of family of eleven children. He is survived by his wife, a patient at the same hospital that her husband passed away in, two daughters, Mrs. Retta Casad and Mrs. Ruby Neil and a grandson, all of Oklahoma City, one brother, William OF Ledyard, Ia., and four sisters, Mrs. Tessie Hunk of Joliet, Mrs. Ella Hunk of Trowbridge, Mrs. Maggie Bhel of Neoga and Miss Josie Rotterman of Princeville.
Mr. Rotterman had been in failing health since last spring and was taken to the hospital several weeks ago. His wife was taken to the hospital at the same time.
Funeral service were held this morning at St Mary's church at Guthrie, Okla. Interment was made there also.
