Death of a Good Man
To the Editor of the News.
Centre Grove on Wednesday experienced one of her saddest losses in the death of Mr. R. G. Brandriff who had proved himself a most valuable citizen and neighbor to all in the community. He has been our Sunday School superintendent for many years and the most prominent official in our church, of which he was the architect. It was by his indomitable courage and perseverance that this place has received so many improvements in the last few years. It was only for the lack of good health that we are deprived of many blessings which only a man like Mr. Brandriff could bestow. He was most highly respected and dearly beloved by all, even to the children. He will be buried on Friday in the Centre Grove cemetery of which he was one of the first trustees. Services in the church to commence at 11:30 a.m.
Centre Grove, August 12.
