Mrs. Margaret Ross, wife of Mr. Morgan Ross, died this morning, about eight o'clock, at the residence of her husband, this place, of typhoid pneumonia, after several week's sickness. She was the daughter of Samuel Throckmorton, who was killed by lightning two years ago last summer, and leaves a husband and a little son Charles, aged three years, a mother, sister and several brothers to mourn her death. Mrs. Ross was a woman of exemplary character, quiet and unobtrusive. She attended to her own domestic affairs and busied herself not about that which did not concern her, and withal was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church.
