Albert B. Throckmorton, well known citizen, died at his home in Center township, near Rogersville, Friday, April 22, aged 71 years, after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Throckmorton was a son of Samuel and Nancy Reese Throckmorton, deceased, and was born September 17, 1860, and spent his entire life in Center township. He had followed farming and stock raising. Mr. Throckmorton was an active member of the Rogersville Methodist Protestant church and had served as superintendent of the Sunday school for thrity years. He was united in marriage with Miss Elmira Smith, of Hampton, Ohio, October 11, 1888, who survives. He also leaves one son, Frank Throckmorton, an attorney of Waynesburg, and a granddaughter, Margaret Throckmorton. Of a family of six brothers and two sisters, only one brother, James B. Throckmorton, of near Waynesburg, survives.
