Mrs. Nancy Reese Throckmorton, widow of Samuel Throckmorton, deceased, died at her home in Center township, this county, Wednesday, July 15, aged 86 years. Since the death of her husband, who was killed by lightning some years ago, Mrs. Throckmorton has been in impaired health, but only in the last few months was her health a cause of anxiety to her friends. She had been for years a member of the Waynesburg Presbyterian church and was a consistent christian woman. She leaves a family of six sons and one daughter, namely, John R. (Clemmie) and Charles, of Waynesburg, William, Albert and Thomas (Annie) of Centre township, James, of Franklin township and Mrs. Jas. R. (Elizabeth) Smith, of Allegheny.
