Bill Lynch was the son of Cornelius Lynch and Bridget Harris. He and his brothers owned the Lynch Brothers Diamond Drilling Company and did the initial drilling on all of the major hydroelectric dams in the Pacific Northwest. Bill was married to Laura Sherman until her death in 1933. He then married Jean Muldowney.
