Our Family states that our Uncle Charley served our Country in the U.S. Military
Army during WWI during active combat in France at the same time as his
Brother Martin Carlson and Brother in Law John " Art" Regnell at the
same or approx. France location during WWI. All three and
possibly Bill Regnell served our Country during Active Combat in France.
Art Regnell's Brother William "Bill" Regnell who Married Charley's Sister
Clara also served or Country during WWI, unknown if he was in France, possible.
All served in the U.S. Army during during WWI.

him. Charley served our Country in the U.S. Military during World War I.
Charley was married to Rose Carlson. Charley's Nephews from Minnesota
remember Uncle Charley fondly. They remember their Uncle Charley as
as a wonderful Man. Uncle Charley was highly respected and they looked
up to him, always admired him. Charley is survived by many relatives
in Minnesota, Illinois and elsewhere around the USA.

Our family has only her name Rose Carlson and and that Rose
may have lived in Miami Beach Florida after Charles passed away. unknown.
More information welcome about Charles immediate family. Rose
is not buried at McHenry Cemetery per a Volunteer who looked into finding
Rose Carlson's place of burial. Unknown if Rose remarried as a Widow or where
she is buried. Rose was living in Spring Grove Illinois when she applied
for Charley's Military grave marker July 1960. Sited as his Wife Rose
Carlson, signed by Mrs. Rose Carlson The Volunteer who took the
photo of Charley's grave marker noted it was a Bronze Military
grave marker.
