Edna S. Trout, 91, was homemaker
Edna S. Trout, 91, formerly of Paradise, died Tuesday after a brief illness at Conestoga View, where she had lived for 15 months.
A homemaker, Mrs. Trout also worked at the former Stehli Silk Mill.
She was a longtime member of Georgetown United Methodist Church, Bart.
She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, and sewing.
Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine Mayser Summers.
Her husband, Marlin F. Trout, died in 1967.
Surviving are three sons, Victor, married to Lynne Rynier Trout, and Dale, both of Paradise, and Donald, married to Ruth Fisher Trout of New Holland; three daughters, Dorothy Rhoades and Sara, married to Nelson Sears, both of Lancaster, and Rhonda Wiker of Paradise; 32 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Jacob Summers of Vintage and Roy, married to Ruth Summers of Gap; and a sister, Florence Harkins of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Arthur, and Two daughters, Marlene and Eleanor.
