Mrs. Kent was born in Portland and lived in the Elliott Prairie area east of Woodburn from 1910 until 1961. She was a member of the Monitor Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include the widow, A. S. (Bert) Kent, Woodburn; 2 sons, Roscoe, Woodburn, and Ray, Selma; 5 daughters, Mrs. Ethel Hackett, Woodburn, Mrs. Viona Darby and Mrs. Bertha Crivilla, both of Tillamook, Mrs. Wilma Ruhd, Portland, and Mrs. Mae Brewer, Madras; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
