WOODBURN-Albert S. Kent, former resident of rural Wood-burn, died Friday in a Tillamook hospital following a long illness.
Born at Elliot Prairie east of here, he lived in this vicinity until two years ago when he moved to Tillamook. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Portland and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are sons Roscoe, Woodburn, and Raymond, Tillamook; daughters Mrs. Ethel Hackett, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Viola Darby, Tillamook, Mrs Bertha Crivella, Tillamook, Mrs. Mae Brewer, Oregon City, and Mrs. Wilma Ruhl, Portland; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ringo - Cornwell mortuary, Rev. Robert Compton and Rev. B. G. Shurtleff officiating. Interment will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.
