MRS. M. PETERSON
Mrs. Melvin (Della) Peterson, 67, 426 N. Fourth av., died at her home Thursday. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the First Methodist church by the Rev. I. Dean Jordan. Burial was in Bayside cemetery. Pallbearers were Jacob Schmidt, Henry Lawson, Hugo Christensen, Fred Zimmerman, Clair Stephenson and Chester Ostram Sr. Arrangements were handled by the Stephenson funeral home.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Maples, Mrs. Peterson was born in Sevastopol township on May 20, 1893. She was married to Melvin Peterson in Sturgeon Bay on July 5, 1917.
She was a member of the First Methodist church, the Women's Society of Christian Service, the Island City Rebekah Lodge and Honor Chapter No. 1 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; a son, George, Sturgeon Bay; a grandson, Tommy Peterson; and a brother, Reuben, Oconomowoc.
