Uncle Paul Raphael King was born January 12, 1915 on a farm near Anthon, Iowa. He married Jean Marie Hueser Bruner on December 21, 1966 at St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church in Quimby, Iowa. Jean was born on May 30, 1926 on a farm near Marcus, Iowa to Ben and Mildred Hueser. Jean died November 9th, 1985 at her home in Quimby, Iowa after a three and half years battle with cancer. Jean died at the age of 59. Paul died on June 6th, 1990 in Sioux City, Iowa after a short illness with cancer at the age of seventy-five years. Paul and Jean are both buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in rural Anthon, Iowa. Three-step children were brought into this union.
