Medical Center. She was born in Pleasants County, a daughter of the late
Austin and Rose Scadden Bailey. She was a member of the Clay Point United
Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Denton and Carl Elder, both of St. Marys; one
daughter, Ruby Virtue of Colliers; three brothers, Leonard, Alonzo, and
Lloyd Bailey, all of St. Marys; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Elder.
Services were held Sunday at the Ruttencutter Funeral Home in St. Marys
with the Rev. George Burns officiating. Burial was in the Lamp Cemetery.
