Mrs. Rosella Elizabeth Spalding, 80, died Monday at the Kidwell Nursing Home at Versailles where she had lived for a year and nine months.
She was born July 6, 1879, in Cole County to Brumley and Sarrah Pierce Crane. She was married March 1, 1894 to Edward L. Spalding, who died in 1951.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anna Meyer, Eldon; five sons, Alvin S. of Petaluma, Calif., Gilbert S. of Minneapolis, Minn., Standley of Orange, Calif., Harold and Raymond, both of Kansas City; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Eugene Christian Church at 2 pm today. The Rev. Alfred Scott, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Eugene Cemetery.
