Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Eugene Cemetery for Lewis Crane, who passed away November 6th at his home in Kansas City.
Mr. Crane, a well-known farmer of the Eugene Community for many years, had been in ill health and moved to Kansas City for medical treatment. He was 73 years old.
Survivors include his wife and five children: two sons, W.B. and Earl live in Kansas City, and another son, Elmore, lives at Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Stella Burchett of Kansas City and Mrs. Hannah Eichen, of near Kansas City. There are also several grandchildren and one brother, Walter Crane of Holts Summit.
Mr. and Mrs. Crane celebrated their 50th anniversary in October 1946.
