HARNESS, FLORA MAE JEFFERS – born March 4, 1921, deceased this life October 14, 1973 at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 12 days. She was the daughter of the late OSCAR and LUCINDA HARNESS JEFFERS. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Buffalo Baptist Church where she remained a member until death. She was united in marriage to JAKE HARNESS, July 11, 1936, and to this union were born 7 children. One preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her absence, husband JAKE HARNESS, Winona, TN; son RONNIE HARNESS, Dalton, GA; 5 daughters, TRUCILLA and JOYCE HARNESS, Winona, TN; IZELLA NEWPORT, Helenwood, TN; FAYRENE LOWE, Clinton, TN; GERALDINE CRABTREE, Elk Valley, TN; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 4 brothers, FLOYD JEFFERS, Winona, TN; MARLEY JEFFERS, Huntsville, TN; LOY JEFFERS, Dayton, OH; L. D. JEFFERS, Helenwood, TN; one sister FLOSSIE MARCUM, Helenwood, TN; one half-sister ARTINCY HARNESS, Mountain View, TN, and a host of relatives and friends. She was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. We feel our loss is her eternal gain in glory. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.
