MARIETTA A. (ANDERSON) SULLIVAN
WOODLAND - Marietta A. (Anderson) Sullivan, 71, went to be with teh Lord Jan. 30, 1998, at her Caribou residence after a long illness. She was born in Caribou, Feb. 7, 1926, teh daughter of Simon and Grace (Little) Anderson. A lifelong Woodland resident, she faithfully attended the Abundant Life Mission of Caribou. On Nov. 25, 1944, she was married to William L. Sullivan Jr., who predeceased her on Sept. 4, 1985. She is survived by one daughter, Gail Wilcox and her husband, Alden of Boones Mill, Va.; six brothers, Earl Anderson, Ernest Anderson and Merrill Anderson, all of Caribou, Chester Anderson of Deland, Fla., Gilbert Anderson of Waterbury, Conn., and Simon Anderson Jr. of Berwick; five sisters, Gertrude York and ELizabeth Tibbetts, both of Millinocket, Ethel Nutting of Peram, Lulu Dyer of Windham and Zelda Wilcox of Westbrook; three grandchildren, Allen Wilcox of Boones Mills, Va., Dale Wilcox and his wife, Sandra of Borden, Ind., Barry Wilcox and his wife, Andrea of Rocky Mount, Va., two great-granddaughters, Kassondra Marie and Brittany Kay-Lynn of Rocky Mount, Va. She was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Lynn on Oct. 17, 1962; and by a sister, Levercie Gamblin. She will be sadly missed by a very special friend, Mabel Wilcox. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Caribou Assembly of God Church with teh Rev. Vinal Thomas and the Rev. Lorretta Doody officiating. Spring interment will be in Riverside Extension Cemetery, Washburn.
