CORA E. BRUBAKER , of West Loop, died in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, at 9:28 p. m. yesterday, after a brief illness. She was born in Freedom Twp. Feb. 16, 1879, daughter of Simon and Mary (Benton) Sell, and married Elinas M. Brubaker Feb. 20, 1900, in Leamersville. Her husband died in 1965. Surviving are 10 children, Elmer J. and Clyde E. of Hollidaysburg Mrs. Myra McKee of Altoona, Lloyd N and Irvin W. of Hollidaysburg, Hiram E. of Bellwood, Wesley H. of Westville, Ind., Mrs. Leona Murray and Emmert R. of Williamsburg and Harry L. of Roaring Spring; 41 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Rachel Clair of East Freedom, Mrs. Susie Beck of Roaring Spring and J. Matthew of Leamersville. Mrs Brubaker was the oldest member of the Hollidaysburg Church of the Brethren. She taught school for a number of years in Freedom Twp. Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville. Altoona Mirror, November 12, 1967
