Elizabeth F. Geurink, 76, of Durant, passed away Monday, September 5, 1994, at her home in Durant.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, at Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine. A memorial has been established in her memory.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, at Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine, with Rev. Tom Parrott of New Hope United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Elizabeth Fannie Altman was born June 16, 1918, in Muscatine County, the daughter of George and Mabel (Teitsch) Altmann. She married William F. Feldhahn on September 4, 1937. They were the parents of Judy. Elizabeth and William were later divorced. She married Leroy Alphonso Geurink on January 24, 1953, in Muscatine. She was a member of the Sunbury Royal Neighbors, Farmington and Sugar Creek Farm Bureau and the Fulton Farm Bureau and the Durant Garden Club. She also enjoyed bowling and making afghans.

Surviving are her husband, Leroy; one daughter, Judy (Keith) Morton of Blue Grass; one son, Randall (Polly) Geurink of Muscatine; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters, Irma Rushing and Eunice (Don) Cawiezell, both of Muscatine; Anna (Delmer) Snyder of Davenport and Bernice (Floyd) Lobdell of Atalissa; and two brothers, Harvey Altman of Oak Park, IL, and Kenneth Altman of Tigard, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Blanche Secrist.
