FREDERICK E. HEMB

Fredrick (sic) E. Hemb, 53, of Rt. 1, School Hill, Kiel, died Monday evening at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, where he had been admitted earlier that day.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. James United Church of Christ, Spring Valley, with the Rev. Jay Lemke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hemb was born Sept. 29, 1923, in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Fred Hemb and Mrs. Pauline Zimmerman Hemb.
He attended district township schools. He married Roma Seifert of Meeme May 29, 1941. They farmed the Hemb homestead in the Town of Meeme for 12 years before
moving to School Hill, where the couple owned and operated the Roma and Fritz Bar until 1973. He was also employed by Reliance Construction Co. of Sheboygan. He
was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, School Hill Trap Club and was a Great Lakes sports fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Roma, of Rt. 1, Kiel; two sons,Randall of Fargo, N.D., and Eric at home, eight daughters; Mrs. John (Barbara) Mayer,Jr of Elkhart Lake; Mrs. Robert (Joan) Loebbaka of Sheboygan, Mrs. Gerald (Mar Jean) Gutschow of R. 1, Kiel; Mrs. Lawrence (Darlene) Steffen of School Hill, Mrs. Daniel (Shari) Wusterbarth of Kiel, Miss Betty Hemb of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Daniel (Diane) Schaefer of St. Nazianz,and Miss Puala Hemb at home; his mother, Mrs. Pauline Hemb; two brothers, Edwin, of Howards Grove and Roland, of Kiel; a sister, Mrs. Lester Germehl, and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by twin brothers.
