Mrs. Laura Brian Kamperman died at her home west of Waverly Sunday, October 2, at 5:05 p.m., following a long illness, at the age of 75 years.
Deceased was born at Waverly November 23, 1884, a daughter of the late Luther and Adeline Dunlap Hunt,
She was arried May 24, 1906, to Curtis Brian, of Waverly. They made their home in Texas for twelve years, later moving to Springfield, where Mr. Brian died August 9, 1932. Other preceding her in death were a daughter, Emma Brian DeLong and two infant sons.
On August 312, 1935, she was married to Emil Kamperman, of Waverly, who survives, together with three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Allen of Auburn, Mrs. Dorothy Neff of Springfield and Mrs. Eloise Wilder of Chenoa; three sons, Donald Brian of Peoria, Woodrow Brian at home and Curtis Brian of Waverly; three sisters, Mrs. Delia Farmer of Jacksonville, Mrs. Shalah Burns and Mrs. Ella edwards of Waverly; two brothers, Luther Hunt and Frank Hunt, of Waverly; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30, conducted by Rev. Howard Fisher, pastor of the church.
Burial was in East cemetery.
