Mrs. Delia (Aggie) C. Farmer, 35, widow of George Farmer, died Tuesday morning at the home of her son, Ray Farmer, 1716 South Main street, with whom she resided.
Mrs. Farmer was born in Greene county Feb. 16, 1882, the daughter of Mr,. and Mrs. Luther Hunt. She was married to Mr. Farmer, April 12, 1905 and he died May 2, 1956. Three children survive, Eva, wife of Arthur Birdsell, Springfield; Raleigh and Ray, both of Jacksonville. There are 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Farmer was one of nine children. Two sisters survive, Thailah Burns and Mrs. Ella Edwards, both of Waverly.
The body was taken to the Williamson Funeral Home where the family will meet friends 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. William J. Boston officiating. Interment will be in Waverly cemetery.
