Charles E. Oberg was divorced at the time of his death in Utah. His sister Amelia (Emelia), buried next to him, died the same year.

Obituary

Charles Emery Oberg was born in Webster county, Nebraska on the 11th day of May, 1888, and departed this earth November 3rd, 1916 at Salt Lake City, Utah; age, 28 years, 5 months and 23 days.

There is left to mourn his loss a father and mother, five brothers, four sisters and a large number of relatives and friends.

This is the second visitation of the Death angel in the family during the past seven months, the first being that of Amelia, who passed away April 5th.

We wish to take this means of expressing our most heartfelt thanks to the friends who so kindly assisted us during our late bereavement, and especially to the singers who so willingly gave their services; also for the many beautiful floral offerings.
