Services for Walter R. Oberg, 72, Carlton, were July 14, at the Chapel of Macy & Son with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. He died July 12, 1976 at McMinnville Hospital.
Mr. Oberg was born July 17, 1903, at Campbell, Neb., the son of Peter and Mary Peterson Oberg. He was reared and schooled in Farnham, Neb., farmed in Nebraska until coming to Yamhill county with his brothers in 1934. He had lived in the Carlton area since that time, and was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are: brother, Noble; sisters, Edna Duncan, Ann Oberg, all Carlton, and Esther Nordmo of Portland.
