Anniston - Graveside services for Gilbert Gentry, 68, of Anniston, will be 11 a.m. today, September 5, 2013, at Forestlawn Gardens with the Rev. Ronald C. Hardy officiating. Mr. Gentry passed away on Tuesday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Talley Gentry; two daughters, Anita Conner and Rose Turner; two sisters, Darlene Turner and Elizabeth Hammett; six brothers, Sam, Danny, Billy, Junior, Frankie and Johnny Gentry; five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Clendening, Scott Gentry, Rodney Gray, Blake Gray, Billy Hammett, Wesley Hammett Shannon Mullinax and Russ Montgomery. Mr. Gentry was a native and a lifelong resident of Anniston. He retired from U.S. Castings. Mr. Gentry was a U.S. Marine veteran. Mr. Gentry was of the Holiness faith.
