Karen Darlene Turner, 60, of Anniston, AL, passed away on October 13, 2023, at her residence on Jamback Rd. A visitation will be on Wednesday October 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Sunny Eve Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny turner; son, Jordan Turner; daughter, Sharon Turner; grandchildren, Akhara Walker, Komiya Walker, Nevah Turner, Aiyanna Zachary, and Julius Pippins; sister, Elizabeth Hammett (Bill) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Evie Gentry; siblings, Gilbert Gentry, Sam Gentry, Willard Gentry Jr., Danny Gentry, Rita fay Gentry, Brenda Gayle Gentry, Frankie Gentry, Billy Gentry and Johnny Gentry.
Darlene Turner was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She loved hunting and fishing. She also loved accommodating others and putting their needs before her own. Darlene loved her family and will be dearly missed.
Pallbearers will be Casey Turner, Dakota Powers, Jacob Screws, Damien Curry, Shannon Willingham, and Jackson Hubbard.
