Beatrice Lucas Nemecek, 85, of Syracuse died Saturday in Austin, after a brief illness.
Her husband, Robert, died in 1995.
Surviving are one daughter, Vanita Thomas of Laso Vista, Texas; two sons, Raymond of Pittsford and Robert "Skip" of Cape Vincent; four sisters, Virginia Ellithorpe, Pauline Gratien and Ceile Behnke, all of North Syracuse, and June Brown of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Graveside services in Syracuse are private.

Bellwood Memorial Park & Crematory, Temple, Texas, is handling arrangements.
